Ik heb met de 7583 (en naar ik me herinner ook met de 7581) dat de effectieve snelheid na een reboot hoger ligt (dicht tegen het maximum) en dat dat met de tijd enigszins terugloopt.
Dat zou ook een rol kunnen spelen in het gevoel dat het nu sneller is.

AVM heeft vandaag 7.15 uitgebracht Release notes:

Geen woord over FragAttacks

Als er iets kwetsbaars is, zullen het echt niet zelf vertellen totdat er voor iedereen een update is.

In de release notes staat het wel genoemd volgens mij.

Nu wel inderdaad: AVM heeft de release notes aangepast Het zou ook raar zijn geweest als ze dit gat niet hadden gedicht.

Freedom waarschuwt nu ook.

Dat betreft FRITZ!OS 7 als geheel (dus vanaf release 7.0). De lijst van wijzigingen in 7.16 is minder indrukwekkend:


Het laatste punt is interessant: Fragattack werd ook al genoemd in de release notes van 7.15. Was die fix misschien niet afdoende?

Het is wel mooi dat AVM ook oudere modellen die al End of Maintenance zijn vaak nog voorziet van belangrijke security updates. Bij veel andere fabrikanten heb je gewoon het nakijken.
